Bo Stallman is a lifetime Brazoria County resident with a passion for law enforcement and serving his community. Upon graduating from Danbury High School, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served our great nation for 4 years. Bo then moved back to Texas where he was accepted into the Texas DPS Academy in 2004.
While working as a Texas State Trooper in Brazoria County for nearly 10 years, he made sure to put an emphasis on furthering his education and law enforcement training, ultimately earning a Masters’ Degree in Criminal Justices and Leadership and Management from Sam Houston State University.
In 2013, Bo took a position with the Brazoria County District Attorney’s Office as a Criminal Investigator.
Bo was elected Brazoria County Sheriff and was sworn into office January 1, 2021.
Bo is married to his wife Jeanna of 21 years. They have 3 children, Carolynn (18), Austin (16) and Dylan (13).

Our Mission
Our mission as assigned by the Sheriff is to provide effective and efficient law enforcement, detention, civil and court security services to the residents and visitors of Brazoria County. We aim to provide fair and impartial services, holistically through collaborative partnerships within our office, community and other law enforcement agencies to enhance the quality of life for those we serve.

The Brazoria County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) deputies and staff continually strive to be a premier law enforcement agency in the State of Texas. To accomplish this vision, we employ quality, highly-trained personnel and foster dynamic leaders throughout our agency who will achieve this vision through innovation, transparency and accountability to the residents of Brazoria County. BCSO will be the bridge between law enforcement, first responders and members of our community.
