Resoft is an 80-acre day-use park near Alvin. Resoft features covered pavilions (3-large and 2-small), barbeque pits, a large multi-stage playground, a series of regulation soccer fields with tournament lighting, horseshoes, basketball courts, volleyball, a renovated lake with piers, extended walking and jogging trails (.46 of a mile around the lake, .87 of a mile around the park), ample paved parking, and restroom facilities. The park is also home to a nine basket disc golf course.

State Freshwater Fishing Regulations apply to fishing in our catch and keep lake.

Day Use Park Rules

PAVILION RENTALS

• Area used must be cleaned upon departure.
• No glass containers allowed.
• Fires or grills allowed in designated areas only.
• Park in designated areas only.
• Pets must be kept on a leash.
• Horseshoes, volleyball and basketball courts - first come, first served.
• Security may be acquired at your own expense.
• Excessive, loud or amplified music not allowed.
• Brazoria County residents receive a $30 discount on large pavilions, 
  $10 discount on small pavilions.
• Rates include water and electricity.
• Payment is due in full.
• 72-hour cancellation notice required for full refund (does not include credit card processing fees).
• No inflatables (moonwalks, bouncy houses, water slides, etc.)
• No water slides, water activities, or water features allowed.
• A $0.25 flat fee plus a 2.65% convenience fee will be applied to all credit card transactions.
• Groups greater than 50 persons serving alcohol must provide security one hour before the event and until all guests have left the premises.

Below is the layout of the pavilions. David Smith and Mike Peters, both small pavilions, are on either side of the playground. BJ Plaster is the large pavilion closest to the playground, CV Coppinger is across from the restrooms, and Nolan Ryan is closest to the overflow parking lot.
