Mission
Our mission as assigned by the Sheriff is to provide effective and efficient law enforcement, detention, civil and court security services to the residents and visitors of Brazoria County. We aim to provide fair and impartial services, holistically through collaborative partnerships within our office, community and other law enforcement agencies to enhance the quality of life for those we serve.
Vision
The Brazoria County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) deputies and staff continually strive to be a premier law enforcement agency in the State of Texas. To accomplish this vision, we employ quality, highly-trained personnel and foster dynamic leaders throughout our agency who will achieve this vision through innovation, transparency and accountability to the residents of Brazoria County. BCSO will be the bridge between law enforcement, first responders and members of our community.

Unless noted otherwise, all courses begin at 0800 hrs and end at 1700 hrs. Doors open at 0730 hrs.

Please have your law enforcement credentials prominently displayed upon arrival.

If you are attending a hands-on workshop course, wear comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting dirty or stained and bring a good flashlight… or two. No other tools or equipment will be allowed into the classroom or workshop areas.
